For many years the Capability Maturity Model (also known as the CMM) has been a model for judging the maturity of the software processes of an organization. This model has helped organizations identify the key practices required to help them increase software quality. Jeremy will talk about the lessons learned in implementing CMM - what is good and what is not good.
Bio:
Jeremy Brodie has over 6 years' experience developing leading-edge applications, with a focus on ColdFusion, Java, Flash, and Oracle. As a project manager and a certified Macromedia developer, he has led teams to develop high-profile web applications using leading project management methodologies such as the Capability Maturity model.
He has worked with leading organizations such as Booz, Allen, and Hamilton, Cendant, The US Army Corps of Engineers, The Bureau of Land Management, and The American College of Cardiologists.
